Privacy policy

Your trust matters. This policy explains in plain language what information Clinique Corps & Esprit collects, why, who can access it and how you can exercise your rights.

Person in charge

The person in charge of protecting personal information at Clinique Corps & Esprit is Sarah-Kim Veilleux. For any question or request, contact her at 819-469-7185. or by email at cliniquecorpsetesprit@hotmail.com

Applicable framework

The information collected by the clinic is governed by Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended in particular by Law 25 (Loi 25). The clinic strives to follow its principles.

This policy describes our practices; it is not an attestation or certification of compliance.

Information we collect

We collect only what is useful for your appointments. The public booking page does not ask you to describe your personal situation.

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number if you provide it, preferred language.
  • Appointments: service chosen, date, time, format, and your history of appointments, reschedules and cancellations.
  • Forms: your answers to any forms you choose to complete in your client area.
  • Receipts: the information needed to issue your receipts. If online payment is offered, card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by the clinic.
  • Technical data: the information needed to run the site securely, such as sign-in logs.

Why we use it

Your information is used to:

  • confirm, manage and remind you of your appointments;
  • send you appointment-related emails (confirmation, reminder, change, cancellation);
  • prepare your sessions based on what you have chosen to share;
  • issue your receipts;
  • answer your questions and requests;
  • protect the site and prevent abuse;
  • meet our legal obligations.

Who can access it

Your information is accessible to Sarah-Kim Veilleux, to the extent needed for your appointments. It is never sold or rented.

For a couples appointment, each partner sees only the shared appointment details and their own answers. Your partner never sees your private form answers, and you don’t see theirs.

Some technical providers (hosting, email delivery and, where applicable, payment) may process information on the clinic’s behalf, solely to provide their service. If information is hosted or processed outside Québec, the clinic aims to ensure it receives adequate protection, as required by law.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on secured servers, and access to private areas is protected by authentication.

Retention periods are set by the clinic in line with applicable rules. Information that is no longer needed is securely destroyed or anonymized.

No system is foolproof. If a confidentiality incident poses a risk of serious harm, the clinic will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

Transactional emails and optional communications

Appointment emails (confirmation, reminder, change, receipt) are part of the service and are sent in your preferred language.

Promotional messages, if any, are optional and turned off by default. You can opt in or out at any time from your client area.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses only the cookies needed to sign you in to your account and remember your language.

No advertising pixels are used on private pages such as the client area, appointment management and forms. Your form answers and the reason for your appointments are never sent to analytics or advertising tools.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • ask to access the personal information the clinic holds about you;
  • ask for inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information to be corrected;
  • withdraw your consent to optional communications;
  • ask a question or make a complaint about how your information is handled.

Exercising your rights

To exercise your rights, contact Sarah-Kim Veilleux at 819-469-7185. or by email at cliniquecorpsetesprit@hotmail.com

You may be asked to verify your identity before your request is processed. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.

This policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect our practices or changes in applicable rules. The current version is always posted on this page.
